These are some of the common risk factors that can predispose patients to develop an arrhythmia. Improvement of these risk factors often leads to improvement of the arrhythmia and in some cases may completely fix it. However, it is worth noting that occasionally an arrhythmia can also develop in patients who are otherwise healthy without any of these risk factors.
